so, like i always say:

a lot has been done, but there is so much left to do.

i guess it's a good thing i have 2 more months to make sure it all happens!

graduation festivities

this weekend literally flew by.
one second i was parking my car at the airport
and eagerly racing through security,
the next i was already back at my parked car
and reluctantly driving home.
how did that happen???

probably because it was jam-packed with great stuff...
i'll start at the beginning:

on friday, my man officially became a UGA grad!
he has worked so hard over the past 5 years,
and i could not be more proud of him.

plus, he knows how to rock a cap and gown ;)

on saturday, we had our last pre-marital counseling session,
and then a celebratory dinner with his family
to commemorate all the fun events of the weekend.
of course, we had to follow that up by going out with his friends
and drinking all the colored drinks we could find.

see? blue & green

on sunday, andrew had the sweetest idea to relive our first date
(which was almost exactly 2 years ago).
so we headed to cafe intermezzo in atlanta
...and i FORGOT to get a picture! *kicking myself*
but it was amazing nonetheless.

now i'm back in the real world,
and incredibly bummed, to say the least.

but i know that in a few short weeks,
he'll be home for good & we get to start our
crazy wedding summer extravaganza!
or CWSE, as it shall henceforth be known.

so i can't have too big of a self-pity party :)

i'm sorry, blog, for neglecting you lately.

it's not that i want to,

it's just that i'm in a slump.

you see, i'm a busy girl...

and as much as i'd love to post everyday,

i love going to sleep early even more.

between working full-time,

planning a wedding,

managing a long-distance relationship,

and trying to actually have a life sometimes,

i may have put you on the backburner.

plus, it's been kind of nice outside lately,

and it can get distracting:

this lil guy was swimming around in our pool the other day, so...

anyways, i apologize from the bottom of my heart,

and i promise to try harder next week.

until then, can we still be friends?
